Sam Cancelarich Sam Cancelarich (Bernie/Jeffery) has been performing since elementary school. Sam's performances include appearing in numerous musicals and dramas. Recent favorite roles include Jon in Tick, Tick Boom, Ash in Evil Dead, Woof in Hair, Dr. Parker in Bat Boy and Judge Turpin in Sweeney Todd. His most recent role as the Rabbi in Soul Searching performed in NYC, was especially gratifying. Sam is an avid reader and collector of graphic novels. Sam is honored to be a part of the Black Box Performing Arts Center and very excited to be a part of this original play.
Tyler Fuentes Tyler Fuentes (Judd/Danny) is super excited to be making his debut in performing in a straight play! This is his 3rd show with Black Box PAC. He was recently seen in Black Box's "Spring Awakening" (Otto) and "Junie B. Jones The Musical" (Herb). Tyler is a Native New Yorker and a student at the New School Studying for his BFA in Musical Theater. Other credits include "The Addams Family" (Gomez), "Little Shop Of Horrors" (Seymour), and "Hello Dolly" (Ensemble). Tyler would like to thank his family and friends for all their support and dedicates his performance to his Grandmother.
Michael Gardiner Michael Gardiner (Sean/Joey) is thrilled to be performing in this original play at TNC! Michael is a repertory member of Black Box Studios in Teaneck, NJ. Past Credits (selected): Hand to God (Jason/Tyrone); ...Cuckoo's Nest (RP McMurphy); Macbeth (Macbeth); The Taming of the Shrew (Petruchio); Buried Child (Dodge); and Peer Gynt (Peer Gynt). He wishes to thank his mentors, family, and Larissa for their unending support.
Sara Giacomini Sara Giacomini (Vicki/Dead Vicki) is thrilled to be making her Theater for the New City debut. Sara is a proud member of the Black Box Performing Arts Center Repertory company, where she has taken part in numerous productions, including Twelfth Night (Viola), Hand to God (Jessica), Junie B. Jones: The Musical (Junie B.), and Spring Awakening (Thea), among others. She serves as the Rep Company's Education and Administrative Director. Sara spent the beginning half of 2018 touring the country as Sally in The Cat in the Hat (Two Beans Productions/TheatreworksUSA). She currently works as a teaching artist at Black Box Studios, George Street Playhouse, and Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts. Sara holds a BA in Musical Theatre from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ. Klara Gribetz Klara Gribetz (Charlene/Girl 1) Klara is very excited to be a part of the Goatman's zany cast! Klara recently originated the role Jodie in The American Theater of Actors production of A Wounded Soul by Sheryl Hatwood. She is also a proud member of The Murder Mystery NY Troupe where she gets to flex her passion in improv. Other recent credits include the original play Ruffles: A Progression of Rakes (Maidservant) by Normandy Sherwood at The Tank Theater, Stage Kiss (Millicent/Laurie) by Sarah Ruhl at Theatreworks New Milford, and Fiddler on the Roof (Fruma Sarah) at Hofstra University where she graduated with her BFA in Theatre Arts. Klara wants to thank her friends and family for their never ending support and most of all her amazing parents who she loves very very much.
Cassandra Guglielmo Cassandra Guglielmo (Jennifer/Girl 2) As a recent graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy's Studio Acting Program, Cassandra was most recently seen rotating between the roles of Junie B. Jones and Lucille/Jose/Bobbi Jean Piper in Black Box PAC's recent production of Junie B. Jones The Musical. Other past credits include: In The Heights!, The Crucible, and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Thanks to Dan and every teacher she's given a parental title to.
Bryan Jahnke Bryan Jahnke (Bart/Bryan) is a recent graduate of the Rider University Acting Program, making his New York City Debut. Recent credits include; Three Musketeers (D'Artagnan/Fight Captain) UNCP GPAC, and Dr. Sheppard (Dr. Sheppard) BTTB Theatre Company. Bryan is super excited for this run and would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work and dedication. Enjoy the show!
Nachi Lederer Nachi Lederer (Berk/Bryn) studies Theatre and Dance at Muhlenberg College. Some of his most recent credits include The Repair Man, Moving Stories (Muhlenberg College), Macbeth, HAIR, Griller, and Dog Sees God (Black Box Performing Arts Center). This past summer, Nachi directed and choreographed SPROUTED!, a musical he wrote, loosely based on Jack and the Beanstalk; the show introduces queer identity to children (and adults) through a modern fairytale lens.
Miranda Luze Miranda Luze (Rosita/Tanya) is a New York based theater artist from St. Louis, MO. Most recently she was seen starring in new rock comedy The Eleventh Hour as Amy Leonardo (Town Stages). Some of her favorite credits include HAIR (Black Box Studios), Rock of Ages (DSM Playhouse), and ...Spelling Bee (DSM Onstage). Miranda's performed several times at Feinstein's 54 Below in Lindsay Mendez and Ryan Scott Oliver's Actor Therapy Showcase and she is Producing Artistic Director of Thousand Faced Theatre Company. Danielle MacMath Danielle MacMath (Melinda/Mandy) Danielle MacMath (Melinda/Mandy) reprises her roles after participating in a staged reading of the show this past summer. Danielle was most recently seen as Wendla in Spring Awakening at the Black Box Performing Arts Center. As a Black Box Repertory Company member, she has performed in Hair (Jeanie), Twelfth Night (Feste), Evil Dead (Cheryl), and Junie B. Jones The Musical (May/Grace/Mother), among others. Other credits include: The Polar Express Train Ride (Event Energizers/Warner Bros.), Cymbeline (Powerhouse Theater Apprentice Company) and Mary Warren in The Crucible (Fairleigh Dickinson University). Sean Mannix Sean Mannix (Leslie/Powell). Sean is thrilled to be in Beltsville/Rockville Part One: Rise of the Goatman! A recent graduate of NYU Tisch's Atlantic Acting School, Sean's recent credits include Twelfth Night (Feste; Camden Shakespeare Festival), Othello (Roderigo; Camden Shakespeare Festival), Eurydice (Nasty Interesting Man/Lord of the Underworld; Atlantic Acting School), The Importance of Being Earnest (Dr. Chasuble; Atlantic Acting School). Bailey Shada Bailey Shada (Marla/Val). This is Bailey's first production with Black Box Studios and she couldn't be more excited to be a part of this new and wonderfully unique play! Recent past credits include: Louise Maske in The Underpants, Stacy Radcliffe in Boy Sees Flying Saucer (World Premiere), and Daughter in Offend-Me-Not! Ben Shanblatt Ben Shanblatt (Spider/Frederick) is a guitarist, composer, and actor based in New Jersey. Currently, Ben is in his first year studying Jazz Guitar at The New School's School of Jazz and contemporary music program. Ben has been working with Black Box for over 5 years and has loved every second of it! Some recent credits include HAIR, Sprouted, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, as well as musical directing Black Box's innovative production of Twelfth Night. Ben has enjoyed this process greatly and is honored to rock out as Spider/Frederick yet again!
Eliana Swartz Ellie Swartz (Mol/Brynn) is thrilled to be making her debut at the Theatre for the New City. Some of her favorite credits include: Sprouted! (Black Box PAC), The King in Yellow, Sunday in the Park with George (Muhlenberg College), West Side Story, The Sound of Music (Phoenix Productions). She is a recent graduate of the physical acting program at the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy. She is a current student at Muhlenberg College and will be graduating this spring with a duel degree in Music and Theatre.
Sally Burgos Sally Burgos (Production Stage Manager) is a freelance stage manager originally from Florida. She studied Producing and Management in Theatre Arts from Marymount Manhattan College where she received her BA Degree. Since then she has worked with Pointless Theatre Company, Florida Studio Theatre, Sheen Center of New York, Origin Theatre Company, Ragtag Theatre Company, and many independent shows. She is thrilled to be working on this new play.
  Alexander Bartenieff (Lighting Designer) Recent credits include: Pulitzer winner Nilo Cruz's production of Sotto Voice (TNC/MDCA), Tally's Folly starring Jude Hirsch (HB Studios Theater), the premieres of Mario Fratt's Three Sisters and a Priest directed by Stephan Morrow, Wendy Osserman's dance concert "Appetite" and TNC's LES and DREAM UP FESTIVALS, A Streetcar Named Desire (Cherry Lane), Lillian Yeurelia (La Mama) directed by Austin Pendelton, Orson's Shadow by Austin Pendelton (Theater Row), Obama in Naples (Abingdon Theater). He has lit plays, dance productions, musicals and opera at Theater for the New City and built and lit multi-set puppet shows including the Swedish Cottage Marionette Theater (City Parks Foundation). Steve Eiman Steve Eiman (Sound Design/ASM) is a classical musician from New Jersey. He hold a BM in Performance from Christopher Newport University, where alongside his musical studies, he worked in professional theater. Notable credits include RENT: The 20th Anniversary Tour, Mamma Mia! Farewell Tour, and Styx: North American Tour (2016). Additionally, he has also worked at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, where he was a member of the crew for the opening year of Britmania! and revival of The Starfright Orchestra (2017).
Allison Falkenstern Allison Falkenstern (Costume Consultant) is a member of the Black Box Repertory Company, serving as Co-Administrative and Education Director. Company Credits: Dog Sees God (CB's Sister), Peer Gynt (Kari/Begriffenfeldt), Macbeth (Director), Junie B. Jones: The Musical (Director), and Spring Awakening (Martha). She is a graduate of the BA Theatre Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Larissa Terese Larissa Terese (Props Consultant) is a proud member of the Black Box PAC Repertory Company in Teaneck, NJ- serving as an actor, teaching artist, and Literary & Special Events Coordinator. She is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BA in Theatre Arts. Select acting credits: Ilse (Spring Awakening), First Witch (Macbeth), Maria (Twelfth Night), Van's Sister (Dog Sees God), Mryhinne (Lysistrata). Matt Okin from Black Box Studios Matt Okin (Writer/Director/BBPAC Artistic Director) founded Black Box Studios in 2007 and opened Black Box Performing Arts Center in November 2015. Other original plays, produced both in New York and on national tours include: Second Chances, Twist Of Faith, Walter Liked To Sit In His Big Backyard, Cherry Hill, The Ugly Wife, and Pigs.
