Significant Other follows the perpetually single Jordan Berman and his trio of girl friends as they navigate dating, relationships, and supporting those you love. The show ran on Broadway in 2017, beginning performances on February 14 which the production called "Singles Awareness Day."
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 8PM, Sunday: 2PM.
Tickets: $30 Adults  /  $25 Students & Seniors

Tevin Barnes
Tevin Barnes (Conrad, Will, Tony) is from Maplewood, New Jersey and proud alumni of Fairleigh Dickinson University. This is his second show here at BBPAC, the first being One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, and he is very excited and honored to be involved with such a talented group of people. He would like to thank his family and closest friends, and of course the audience, for their support.
Sara Giacomini
Sara Giacomini (Kiki)is thrilled to be joining the cast of Significant Other. Most recently, she was seen as Vicki in Beltsville/Rockville, Part 1: Rise of the Goatman at Theater for the New City. Sara is a proud member of the Black Box Performing Arts Center Repertory company, where she has taken part in numerous productions, including Twelfth Night (Viola), Hand to God (Jessica), Junie B. Jones: The Musical (Junie B.), and Spring Awakening (Thea), among others. She serves as the Rep Company's Education and Administrative Director, as well as a teaching artist at BBPAC. Sara spent the beginning half of 2018 touring the country as Sally in The Cat in the Hat (Two Beans Productions/TheatreworksUSA). BA in MT from FDU. "Never apologize for your art."
Cassandra Guglielmo Cassandra Guglielmo (Grandma Helene) As a recent graduate of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy's Studio Acting Program, Cassandra was most recently seen rotating between the roles of Junie B. Jones and Lucille/Jose/Bobbi Jean Piper in Black Box PAC's recent production of Junie B. Jones The Musical. Other past credits include: In The Heights!, The Crucible, and You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. Thanks to Dan and every teacher she's given a parental title to.
Alex Hughes Alex Hughes (Jordan) is thrilled to be returning to BBPAC and this amazing team of artists! He is a graduate of Atlantic Acting School at Tisch School of the Arts. Favorite recent theatre credits include Abe in Disgraced (BBPAC) and Sandeep in Ideation (Theatre Exile). He is the co-creator, director, and writer of multiple award-winning web series. Much love to Mom, Dad, Clara, and Madeline!
Danielle MacMath
Danielle MacMath (Laura) is honored to be a part of this production. As a proud member of the Black Box Repertory Company, she has performed in Hair (Jeanie), Evil Dead (Cheryl), and Junie B. Jones (May/Grace/Mother), among others. Other credits include The Polar Express Train Ride (Event Energizers/Warner Bros.) and Mary Warren in The Crucible (Fairleigh Dickinson University). She is a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, where she studied Theater, Literature, and Education. Danielle would like to thank her family, the squad, and her support system at Black Box. Sean Mannix
Sean Mannix (Zach/Evan/Roger) is thrilled to be making his official Black Box Debut! Sean was lucky enough to work with a lot of the Black Box family already in Theater For The New City's production of Matt Okin's Beltsville/Rockville Part One: Rise of the Goatman as Leslie/Powell. Sean is a recent graduate of NYU Tisch's Atlantic Acting School, and his other recent credits include Twelfth Night (Feste; Camden Shakespeare Festival), Othello (Roderigo; Camden Shakespeare Festival), Checks and Balances Or Bottoms Up! (Theater For The New City, Dir. Crystal Field) and Eurydice (Nasty Interesting Man/Lord of the Underworld; Atlantic Acting School). Sean would like to thank his family and friends for their endless support, and everyone at Black Box for making him feel so welcome so quickly!
Larissa Terese Larissa Terese (Vanessa) is a proud member of the Black Box Repertory Company serving as both an actor and Special Events Coordinator. BBPAC credits: Spring Awakening (Ilse), Junie B Jones The Musical (Lucille), One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Nurse Flinn), Macbeth (First Witch), Twelfth Night (Maria), and Dog Sees God (Van's Sister). She is from Buffalo, NY and received her BA in Theatre Arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University. University credits include: Spring Awakening (Thea), Urinetown (Little Becky Two-Shoes), Merrily We Roll Along (Meg/Featured Ensemble), Lysistrata (Myrhinne) and A Midsummer Night's Dream (First Fairy). Steve Eiman Steve Eiman (Tech) is a classical musician from New Jersey. He hold a BM in Performance from Christopher Newport University, where alongside his musical studies, he worked in professional theater. Notable credits include RENT: The 20th Anniversary Tour, Mamma Mia! Farewell Tour, and Styx: North American Tour (2016). Additionally, he has also worked at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, where he was a member of the crew for the opening year of Britmania! and revival of The Starfright Orchestra (2017).
Matt Okin from Black Box Studios Matt Okin (Director/BBPAC Artistic Director) founded Black Box Studios in 2007 and opened Black Box Performing Arts Center in November 2015. Recent directing credits include: Griller, Talk Radio, Dog Sees God, Peer Gynt, Buried Child, Hand To God, Heathers The Musical: High School Edition (teens), Disgraced, Cloud 9, Skip & Rivkah's Not-So- Kosher Interactive Wedding Experience, The Goat Or, Who Is Sylvia?, Blood Brothers A Musical, Evil Dead The Musical, Bad Jews, RMTI's new production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (teens), True Groove Productions’ Diana & Navy & The Golden Tooth, The Pillowman, and Passing Strange (all at BBPAC); the Off-Broadway premiere of Huey Esquire's This Time, A New Musical Romance (at Theater For The New City, as well as BBPAC); and the BBS Ensemble's productions of Falsettos "In Concert", House Of Blue Leaves, and Next To Normal (all at bergenPAC), among many others. As a playwright, director, and composer, Matt's original plays and musicals include: Beltsville/Rockville, Part One: Rise Of The Goatman (NJ workhops), Out Of Whack: The All-Kids Rock Musical (devised, at Theater For The New City), Soul Searching (45th Street Theater, DR2 Theater, D-Lounge, and the NYMF), Generations (various NYC venues and NYMF), and A Match Made In Manhattan: The Interactive Jewish Wedding Experience (NYC and national tours). Other original plays, produced both in New York and on national tours include: Second Chances, Twist Of Faith, Walter Liked To Sit In His Big Backyard, Cherry Hill, The Ugly Wife, and Pigs. Matt received a BFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University's Tisch School Of The Arts.
