1 + 1 received its world premiere in a co-production between New York Stage and Film (Johanna Pfaelzer, Artistic Director; Mark Linn-Baker, Max Mayer and Leslie Urdang, Producing Directors) and the Powerhouse Theater (Ed Cheetham, Producing Director) at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY, July 2008

1+1 received a workshop production at Black Box PAC in November 2021. Directed by Matt Okin and starring Katie North as Brianne, Daniel Yaiullo as Phil, Michael Gardiner as Carl, with Danielle MacMath as the Understudy for Brianne. Production Design was by Ilana Schimmel and Original Incidental Music created by Ben Shanblatt. The production headlined The Chain Theater Festival in July 2022 before moving Off-Broadway to the SoHo Playhouse with the same cast and creative team in March 2023.
